CodeKiddie is a family-run business that creates wooden educational resources to promote hands-on learning and mindful practice through play. As parents of two young children, we believe that allowing children to learn through meaningful play fosters social development and self-confidence.

​

Our journey begun in 2020, with the goal of living a more environmentally conscious lifestyle. Natural, mindful and slow living has become very important to us, so we started making some changes in our home including making learning toys for our children. As we learn, we grow, and as we grow, we allow life to be a gentle unfolding, leaving small footprints in the process of developing natural alternatives in educational resources.

 

Our mission is to develop high-quality, safe learning resources for children that are not harmful to our beautiful planet. Every product is designed for open-ended play, which means they are no limitations to how they can be used. Children will follow their imaginations to allow their play in any direction they choose. With sustainability in mind, all materials including the earth-based paints and oils are sourced locally. The full process of designing, cutting, sanding and application of finishes are carried out in our workshop. Everything we make is something we would confidently giving to our own family and friends. Our products are not only an investment that can be passed down through generations, but they are also a soulful choice for your family and/or learning center.
